Image Information Systems, based out of Rostock, Germany, is one of the leading creators of digital imaging software for radiologists (PACS and RIS). Our US office opened in April 2011 to better support our growing customer base locally. I was hired to set up and oversee our US Sales and Support office, both from a technical support standpoint as well as a business perspective. My duties have included:· Filing legal documentation for the establishment of the business· Serving as a technical representative on sales meetings to help determine whether certain requests are technically feasible· Working with 3rd party vendors on integrating our products with other EMR, HIS, and RIS systems to create a seamless workflow in our customer's medical environment· Bridging the gap between the cultural differences in German vs. US marketing and business operations· Managing and resolving technical support requests for our products· Training Sales Partners on the installation, configuration, and support of our software· Editing all User Manuals, Admin Guides, and marketing materials in English to guarantee their accuracy and effectiveness· Creating marketing and tech support videos for our YouTube channel· Performing HR, operational, and financial tasks while ensuring that all laws and regulations are adhered to

Played a key role in the strategic direction, planning, and marketing of a new business unit including the installation of a digital press, implementing a Web-to-Print solution, installing a new MIS system and introducing variable data print capabilities into the business with zero down time for our employees and added services for our customers.Developed an online reporting system linked to the MIS system that allows management to daily measure production efficiencies and to perform costing and estimating analysis. The creation of better workflows, better pricing, and a better understanding of our customer base followed, resulting in a 20% higher profitability.
