After a successful career in the gaming industry at The Star Casino, where I was able to build significant experience in leadership, specifically in a compliance driven environment, I took an opportunity to extend my skills in a start-up business environment. With a passion for all aspects of business and an insatiable appetite for learning, I entered the franchising sector in 2005 as a franchisee in a start-up franchise system and built a successful business in the Sydney area. I was then employed by the franchisor to assist the network to grow, leading a team of state managers overseeing an Australia wide network as well as major sponsor partners and other key stakeholders.Extending my experience in the franchise sector, I am now a founding director and shareholder of ScopeIT Education, a franchise operation involved in the education of primary school children in technology and computer science. As the General Manager (Franchisor) for the first six years, I lead a great team that is passionate about educating children and is excited to be making an impact on the future workforce of this country. Applying my franchising expertise and leadership skills to ScopeIT Education ensures that the brilliant programs offered are delivered across Australia and the world with professionalism and maximum impact.I enjoy the challenge of developing new business, balancing the needs of customers with organisational goals. I have developed significant skills in leading teams to deliver innovative solutions, productivity outcomes and organisational goals. I enjoy training and developing both direct reports but also other stakeholders who have an organisational interest.
