Application Developer- Infrastructure Software Engineering Program

Set, enforce and optimize internal policies to maintain efficiency and responsiveness to demands. Along with other members of the leadership team, I determine opportunities for improvement of key metrics and execute action plans to achieve results. I also analyze operational performance through direct observation, interpretation of reports, and collaboration with the team. My daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading daily employee meetings to ensure workforce communication and daily goals, as well as administering company safety strategies and programs. I also take on the responsibility of hiring and training new employees, as well as ensuring they are informed of job duties and performance expectations as stated with FedEX ground policies, procedures and training requirements. As I bring in new staff, I handle all training, mentorship and direction to maximize productivity in the sort and inbound operations.

Developed and implemented daily operations' plans such as trailer designation for efficient deliveries, employee assignments and strategies for a strategic sort that aligns with company expectations. I worked closely with other managers of the leadership team and was responsible for ensuring safe and efficient package sortation through the management of Package Handlers. I addressed employee concerns and staff productivity through coaching, training, performance evaluation, and discipline. I, along with other management personnel, planned and organized specific day-to-day operations within the station. Along with my daily responsibilities and expectations, I completed training related to quality assurance, hazardous materials, and dock safety, as well as other training geared towards excellent performance on the job. Through a monitored processes, I strengthened performance metrics tracking and analysis to boost long-term business success and enhance a strategic daily plan for greater productivity.

Coordinated daily work strategies, following oral and written instructions to properly scan and load trucks to their specifications for the shipment of packages. Used hand-held scanners and physical logs to accurately track item movements. Inspected equipment and packages to ensure safety for our team members and customers. Used troubleshooting approaches to help keep the sort in constant forward motion.After the sort, help with the wrap up of the morning sort. Also performed other functions such as sorting on the home delivery side and in the tower. During peak season and periodically throughout the year, assisted during busy periods, developing new skills by working inbound and outbound sorts. Alerted supervisors and managers of any issue for quick resolutions.

We developed a story feature that allows photos to remain no longer than 24 hours.Kwitter is a Twitter clone that was created by a team to allow users to post, upload pictures, and interact with messages known as “kwipps.”

As a substitute, I took over elementary, middle school, and high school classes, managed all classroom assignments, student needs and record keeping. Presented the lesson content in a way to keep students engaged and learning by integrating existing and new technology into the classroom to help provide a creative and fun learning environment. Kept students on-task with proactive behavior modification and positive reinforcement strategies. When motivation or discipline was necessary, I implemented them as needed. Collaborated with teaching staff and other members of the faculty to devise and implement coordinated educational strategies, student engagement activities, and student support networks. Organized and cleaned teaching areas after daily use to maintain high standards for returning teachers or other substitutes.
