As an Accounts Receivable/Sr. Customer Service Rep at DURECT Corporation, I was a major contributor to the smooth and efficient operations of the finance and customer service departments for over a decade.I provided exceptional customer service, while growing and maintaining positive relationships with our customers, with my co-workers in California and Alabama, and with our distributors worldwide.I created quotes and proforma invoices for domestic and international customers, handled the invoicing, collections, and application of payments. Ensured accuracy and timeliness, while resolving issues and inquiries as they arose. I reconciled customer accounts, provided custom reports, calculated commissions for international distributors and handled the month end close for both business units within our company.After taking some much-needed time off during the pandemic and volunteering for a non-profit (Bay Area Housing Corporation) for the last few months, I am excited to get back to spreadsheets full time. DURECT Corp. was a wonderful place to work and to grow my skill set. While I miss my co-workers and customers, I look forward to continuing to grow and learn in the field of accounts receivable and accounting and to supporting the mission and vision of my next company.
