I am an outgoing, motivated professional who believes that education comes in many forms, and more importantly, success is available to all who seek it. The road to success, both personally and professionally, is often spurred by our story. Everyone has a story, in truth a lot of stories.I have worked, both as a writer and an editor, creating content and enhancing the works of others. I have published pieces in the areas of creative non-fiction, academic instruction, and motivational thinking. My vocation has given me training and technical experience but what inspires me are the stories of life. I have traveled a journey that has taken me from interacting with the most disadvantaged, the helpless and the hopeless to those who control the pursestrings of power in the world. What has it shown me - at a basic level we all matter and we all have stories. I have a great need to give back to those in need and share their stories with me. I have found joy in joining COMMUNITIES IN SCHOOLS of the CAPE FEAR (CISCF). The focus of CISCF is to provide a supportive impact on children in the community which will bring greater hope for the future. Positively impacting lives through a connection of words and actions is the best feeling I could imagine. AND I get to hear so many stories!
