My role at REMEDI is a jack-of-all-trades...I go where I am needed. My current responsibilities are to provide technical direction both in REMEDI's offerings, and internal office workflow and process improvements. I also assist with marketing directives, and am responsible for website development and SEO. I was hired to develop a unified face to EDI. I was responsible for developing and expanding Electronic Data Interchange in a decentralized organization with annual sales of $3.4 billion. Traveled with President visiting buying groups and making presentations about AmeriSource's EDI capabilities and future plans.Within six months, AmeriSource created an internal clearing house that allowed consolidation of data and I was responsible for all of the technical work such as trading partner implementation and mapping in addition to data analysis internal and externally.

I worked for Owens Corning twice over a four year period.My first position was as EDI Analyst after graduating from college. I was accepted into 6-month training program for newly graduated IT majors. During this program, I was assigned two projects on different teams in addition to classes in listening skills, presentation skills, and project management skills. My second project was on the EDI team where I was permanently placed.My responsibilities included adding new trading partners, working with business groups to define data requirements, mapping, production support, developing interface programs, and creating job streams.My second position was on a contract basis while I went back to school to get my MBA. I was able to work remote and learned a new translator and operating system. My responsibilities were mostly technical in nature – data analysis, mapping, trading partner implementation, and production support.
