    Bill Young Productions creates and manages radio, TV and print advertisements for the "big tour" entertainment industry. I designed, won and managed print campaigns for bands like The Who, Oz Fest, Motley Crue, Blues Traveler, Erasure, Genesis, Moody Blues, Rush, Sticks, ZZ Top, The Lord of the Dance, The Horde Tour and many more. I was hired by BYP as a consultant to revitalize the print advertising dept. to help land more clients. But what they really needed was systems, structure AND a good designer. BYP was solid in the radio and TV arena but weak in winning print ad campaigns for large tours. When I arrived the print department was chaos. Nobody knew which version of the ads had been delivered and which had not. Venue promoters were allowed to send orders in as late as 7pm with the expectation they would be fed-exed that night and in their hands by the next day. This is the main reason why they couldn't keep staff. I reset expectations and created structure, systems and consistency. Along with the radio and TV designers, I helped win new big tour contracts. No longer did they have a weak link. We delivered radio, TV and print advertising to all the venues across the globe and manage these accounts when there were ad content changes during the life of the tour.When my contract was complete, there were clear procedures and systems in place to land new clients and manage any world-wide tour with ease. All without working 18 hour days.
