In this role, Mr. Bugg designed, built and maintains a new cloud-based infrastructure environment totaling nearly 40 servers, including domain controllers, web application servers, SQL and Oracle database servers, as well as several servers to support FTP, Microsoft SharePoint and Team Foundation Services. The new infrastructure separates out development, quality assurance (QA), user acceptance testing (UAT) and production clustered environments and incorporates load balancing, failover clustering and SQL Server AlwaysOn High Availability Groups with listeners for production databases. Mr. Bugg also oversees nearly 40 Terabytes of operational and client production data. In addition, Mr. Bugg manages all aspects of GIS including building and maintaining ArcGIS geodatabases, publishing REST services and ESRI licensing.Lead GIS Developer (April 2014 to January 2015):As Lead GIS Developer, Mr. Bugg supported development of customized and configurable software-based data management solutions for land rights and infrastructure asset needs. He was responsible for the design and integration of customer's spatial and attribute data with geoAMPS applications for cloud hosted and onsite enterprise installations serving desktop, mobile and off-line detached environments. Data acquisition, analyses, conversions and integrations were accomplished through extensive use of industry standard tools including ESRI ArcGIS suite of spatial analysis and mapping software, Safe Software FME spatial ETL, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Migration Assistant and Microsoft Visual Studio. Additional responsibilities include: application builds, releases and deployments; ArcGIS for Server/SDE administration; ESRI licensing, maintenance, and upgrades; geospatial analysis; Oracle dump file imports and migration to SQL Server.
