About Jeremy Tranter

As an electrical engineer and electrician specialising in hybrid power systems, I bring with me the latest engineering expertise in renewable energy technologies and the integration of multiple energy resources. I have strong skills in renewable energy generation and control, particularly in solar photovoltaics and energy storage systems, and in electrical systems including protection, network interconnection, controls and automation. I have extensive experience in hybrid, off-grid, standalone and remote area power systems including high penetration diesel grids and battery systems as well as network embedded microgrids. I also have a depth of experience across the building and industrial services disciplines, particularly in control and monitoring, SCADA/DDC/DCS, communications and data, and mechanical and ventilation systems. I have successfully operated in design, project management and construction management (EPCM) roles on multidisciplinary construction projects throughout Australia and internationally. I am passionate about robust and reliable power systems which include sustainable energy sources. I have the demonstrated ability to operate across all aspects of renewable energy projects including planning, design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and operations and maintenance.I am committed to ensuring that project design visions are delivered throughout the entire project, particularly throughout construction, commissioning and handover. I have strong fault finding and defect rectification skills and am focused on delivering positive outcomes.I am committed to constant professional and industry improvement and have previously been a member of the Australian Standards EL-061 Technical Committee for Energy Storage. I have strong people management skills and enjoy working with junior staff to coach and develop their professional development and career goals. I have proven my ability to operate as a Principal and in senior engineering management roles.
