About Van Tran

I am an instinctual connector of people and purpose and vision and reality. I’m a self described queen of the pivot and innovation spending the last 20+ years sniffing out challenges to solve in various marketing, tech and operations roles, across various industries including tech, retail, telecomm, agency, and more. I cut my teeth in startups and tech in Silicon Valley delivering marketing, martech, and operations strategy at Tibco (Reuters), Stubhub, and Responsys (Oracle) in the US and EMEA before taking on deeper leadership and global roles in marketing and operations, working in an incubation and innovation lab for Westfield and heading departments in the Marketing and Advertising Agency industry. I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible brands like North Face, Lego, American Express, Verizon, and more. As with most folks, my passions lay in many areas. A passion project I’m proud of is co-founding API Rising, a leadership development and coaching organization with a mission to increase Asian and Pacific Islander leadership recognition and representation in Corporate America.
