I am currently an Associate Section Manager for Hallmark Cards Inc. in Topeka, KS. I have been in this position for two years. My responsibilities include: Assigning staff to various presses in the Foil and Folding department to meet company needs. I evaluate the product for defects and handle the decision making process for any flaws that occur. I effectively communicate with peers on all shifts plant wide to ensure production is moving with the least amount of down time. I maintain all payroll for my department, VTO, PTO, and Overtime. I have knowledge in SAP, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook. I have been on teams and conducted LEAN meetings with various shift managers to educate staff on techniques to eliminate waste. I keep track of production for all three shifts within my department and notify the department head when employees are not meeting expectations.
