I've recently started a new career as a Veterans Service Representative with the Veterans Benefits Administration of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The position involves developing veterans' claims for benefits. It seems to be interesting work, in addition to providing the satisfaction of aiding disabled veterans receive their well-deserved compensation for their service.I recently finished my MA in Political Science at West Virginia University, in May 2014. In addition to this academic background, I have experience in the intelligence field. I worked as both a targeting analyst for a government-contracted program and an all-source intelligence analyst for the US Army.I would ultimately like to put my skills and experience to use. Though I have honed my analytical and critical thinking skills immensely over the past years, I know I can always learn more and gain greater expertise. I'm ready to serve dutifully, continue my lifelong learning process, and contribute what I can.
