In this position, I act as an editor for an internal publication called the "Gaming Gazette". Additionally, I manage the Gaming Communications e-mail account and an internal Gaming Communications website, which is designed to provide a place for employees to gather information that is essential to their job duties. I also visit the various Oneida gaming locations and take photographs of employee activities.

In this position, I am required to seek out current, relevant, and interesting stories and formulate an article for publication in the bi-weekly newspaper. I also speak directly with advertisers, both personal and commercial, and work with them on purchasing advertising space within the Kalihwisaks. I then design an advertisement to meet the customer’s specifications. I also design photo spreads, logos, notices, graphics, and much of the content layout of the newspaper. In addition to these responsiblities, I attend community events and sporting activities and take photographs intended for newspaper publication.
