• Manage all Landman responsibilities regarding exploration and production, legal and regulatory matters, landowner problems, and lease record arrangements covering a total of 521,000 gross acres that encompasses the Raton Basin in south eastern Colorado, West Panhandle field near Amarillo, TX and the Eagle Ford.• Proven skills drafting, negotiating and reviewing contracts such as O&GLs, ROWs, SUAs, SDRs, JOAs, Farm-In/Farm-Out Agreements, Pooling Declarations, and Unit Designations• Extensive experience with acquisitions and divestment projects, verifying mineral ownership, title curative, securing drill site rights, and ensuring governmental and regulatory compliance• Evaluate, negotiate, and track third party proposals and offers that will add value to core operating areas• Involvement in exploratory leasing program in eastern Colorado securing acreage position totaling 925,000 gross acres covering nine county’s which comprised of well authorizations prior to drilling, analyzing opportunity potential, disadvantages, competitor leasehold and current well activity• Experience with horizontal allocation wells and production sharing agreements• Five years of experience working with three Federal Units totaling 96,000 gross acres in the Raton Basin and responsible for the units Plan of Development, contractions and expansions and BLM interactions• Managed brokers, independent contractors, attorneys and field coordinators for required title research, leasing, title opinions, curative, and direction on projects and resolving landowner issues• Efficiently communicate lease/contract terms and obligations to all groups within the company• Monitor lease and contract obligations to adjust drilling schedule or take necessary steps to protect company leasehold such as paying rentals, extension payments, minimum royalties and shut-ins• Team player who enjoys learning and contributing to team goals
