Provides overall support and supervision of the medical technology management functions for the system. Supervises technical staff that provide the calibration, repair and technical support for Radiology, imaging, monitoring, diagnosis, and treatment equipment systems and networks. Assures compliance with documentation and record keeping for preventive maintenance, repair, alerts, department work activities. Serves as the manager of the EOC Medical Equipment Management Plan, and facilitates compliance with JCAHO and similar standards. Assures that equipment orders meet system standards, works with vendors and hospital departments to review bids, for appropriateness of equipment. Monitors recalls , alerts, and safety concerns as they relate to the application medical equipment and systems. Reviews contracts for the support of equipment, and vendor compliance systemwide.

Asset manager for all diagnostic imaging equipment in the St. Josephs health system of northern California. Perform planned/preventive/corrective maintenance, calibrations where certification may be required and electrical safety inspections on diagnostic imaging and related equipment in compliance with established standards. Assist with diagnostic imaging cross training of CBET Technicians. Confer with manufacturer's representatives and equipment operators to resolve equipment related problems. Works with clinical personnel to correct and minimize operator based problems. Assists in developing and maintaining a comprehensive and cost-effective Medical Equipment Management Program to comply with same.

Perform routine tests, incidental maintenance, electrical switching and other activities necessary to ensure continuity of power generation at the nations largest nuclear power plant. Operate all plant auxiliary equipment that is not normally operated from the control room. Perform periodic inspections of all assigned equipment spaces. Thoroughly familiar with the conditions and limitations of equipment operation, out of specification indications, logs, and surveillances. Report any abnormal plant or equipment conditions and take appropriate action to mitigate the consequences. Identify problems, defects and failures that degrade plant equipment integrity and reliability. Assists engineering group with test specifications and performance. Perform technical reviews of procedures and other documents. Completed the NRC GFES with the third highest grade in the country.
