Managed a team of 230 employees and provided guidance and oversight for the successful execution of enterprise data services, application development, infrastructure, project management, and security teams to support day-to-day operations for a transforming client portfolio.

Built a project management office comprised of 12 IT project managers, 5 program managers, 4 software quality assurance specialists, and 3 technical writers, managing an annual client project portfolio of $40 million in project spend. Focus of the PMO was to guide the client through a three-year IT transformation initiative that fundamentally transformed how the business enhanced shareholder value through their technology platform.

Managed large-scale strategic projects, which required management of project teams with as many as 50 Information Technology project team members, including a large contingent of offshore developers.

Managed more than 20 enterprise-scale medical software implementation projects from conception and design to implementation and close out. • Created a new product offering called TouchWorks Ready by conceptualizing, developing, and implementing a new project methodology that decreased project implementations from 6 months to 3 months. In addition to a full project load, voluntarily created the concept, formed a team to develop the supporting documentation, led the pilot project to prove the concept, and trained the sales and implementation staff to take the approach to market. • Facilitated fundamental project management office methodology changes by identifying enabling technology, securing stakeholder buy-in, and deploying a web portal to enable streamlined processes that reduced the project lifecycle by nearly 4 weeks.

Served as lead marketing writer, external web master, and marketing communications project manager for the world's second largest defense contractor. Oversaw the development of increasingly dynamic marketing content, the development of an external facing website, and became the company's primary marketing ombudsman to the Pentagon.
