Estimator
CurrentAs an Estimator my primary responsibilities are involved in assisting clients through the collision repair process of their vehicles. This would include writing the preliminary estimate, working with the repair shop and the insurance company if any supplemental work is needed, setting proper expectations with all parties involved in the final quality control inspection of the vehicle, and delivery walk-around with the client. Duties include:-Schedule appointments using Collision Center-approved processes.-Check-in clients including; collecting signatures, contact information, and verifying payment information.-Indicate in the claim file the cause of the loss and any related details.-Ensure that all documents are accounted for and accurate (ie. parts invoices, direct payment forms etc.)-Inspect clients vehicles for additional needed repairs.-Work with repair technicians to ensure no additional repairs are needed. If additional work is needed, explain the details to the client, including the additional cost and time considerations.-Update clients throughout the repair process with the purpose of setting proper expectations of overall repair time.-Handle telephone inquiries regarding work-in-process and appointments.-Maintain Customer Satisfaction rating based on CCC / Carwise IndexUnderstand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous waste, OSHA, right-to-know, etc.
