As a Sales Director I was responsible for growing revenues and increasing brand presence. I led a sales team of 5 talented executives where 90% of revenue was from digital agency services, and we were leaders in both digital growth and profitability. Additional responsibility: Digital Political Sales Director. Built sales strategy for 5 markets and led political sales teamDuring the same time I was also the Digital Political Sales Director. I worked with a team of sales executives to build a go to market sales strategy and win large political campaign ad dollars.

I oversaw 5 markets and was selected to lead a group of strategic sellers in pursuit of enterprise level clients and their digital marketing strategy utilizing appropriate audience technologies and agency solutions. I developed sales strategies and go to market plans by verticals with new technologies and solutions. I led from the front and teamed up with our talented sellers to close enterprise level business.

At BHmedia we created our own local digital ad agency under McClatchy and The Bellingham Herald. We quickly developed a client base both locally and regionally for our digital agency solutions and technologies and consistently held Bellingham in the top 5 for digital revenue amongst 30 McClatchy properties.

New business development. Consistently exceeded targeted budgets of $750K annually.
