• Key Responsibilitieso Oversight of implementation and evaluation of all Foundation programs consisting of the Joan Mitchell Center Residency (New Orleans), individual artist grants (Painters & Sculptors, Emerging Artist), emergency grants to visual artists, the Creating a Living Legacy (CALL) Program, professional development for artists, and the Art Education Programo Responsible for accurate fiduciary oversight and reporting of $3 million program budgeto Supervision of a program staff consisting of three Program Directors (one in New Orleans) and a Program Associateo Member of Senior Management Team (SMT) that met weekly with Executive Director to ensure vision and values of the Foundation were being mindfully implementedo Assisted with design and facilitation of annual staff retreats and professional developmento Ensured that all programs operated with a lens of access and equityo Representation of the Foundation and presentations at national and local conferences including Grant Makers in the Arts, Alliance for Artist Communities, and The Aspen Institute• Key Achievementso Created the foundation for strategic planning process for Foundation programs currently in executiono Convened numerous representatives from artist residency programs to strategize on how to better support parent artists resulting in publications utilized nationwideo Oversaw integration of all programs that had traditionally worked independently of one anothero Increased diversity (geographic, racial, gender, sexual orientation) of Painters & Sculptors grant recipients by restructuring outreach and diversifying nominator pool
