I believe that the world is best experienced when you are honest with yourself. If you cannot be yourself you will not be able to have fun. I started to discover this in high school, where I would tell people how I felt about situations. This has contributed to the life I have now.From high school to now my beliefs have lead me into a path I am happy being on. In high school I was honest with a teacher about my thoughts on an argument with a student she had in class. She had taken me aside and threatened to affect my report card because of it. Even though she said this I stood firm with what I thought. I used this situation and was able to use it to apply in my life. I even used this experience in an interview for the Academic S.T.A.R.S program, allowing me to be accepted. I learned more about myself there and developed my beliefs. From this I got a job, made connections and friends as well as become involved with organizations on campus. The reason I got all of these was because I was honest about my excitement for it. The reason for this is because I portray how I feel honorably.
