During my work at Online Stores, I focused on writing and creating content for The United States Flag Store. This consisted of adding content and material to existing pages to not only make them more relevant and engaging, but to also improve their performance on Google via SEO strategies. I used the platform Semji to help utilize these pages which compared them to multiple pages across the web that shared the same keyword. Though this, I was able to establish a more favorable search result for the keywords we were using and thus increase organic traffic driven to the site. Along with Search Engine Optimization, my goal with The United States Flag Store was to give it a voice of its own, creating a unifying and uniform sound, pacing, and information across the whole breadth of it. I also worked at making the United States Flag Store more than just an online flag store by providing the reader/ consumer with history and a variety of facts and knowledge on the products and topics discussed.
