With an MBA in Business (2023), a BA in Psychology (2012), and an AAS in Building Construction (2001), I invested in personal growth. I've held professional licenses and been through countless trainings for safe housing and government program implementation. I provided fitness training for over ten years and instructed college classes for three. Success skills from many work environments shaped the professional I am now.Professional experience and training have made my skills strongest when working with people. Hiring staff with direct experience is challenging. Three keys I look for are "Why" do they want to take part in our work? Do they have "Transferable skills?" "How far have they grown in their career," from where they started? These answers help assess character, work ethic, organizational fit, and willingness to work through uncomfortable circumstances to grow.All new hires have a learning curve. I work to understand the details of "why we do this" and care about doing it well. I find support and develop my resource connections. With sufficient background, I explore strategic changes. I will take on whatever we face and assemble the puzzle with my team.I have worked with challenging staff in private industry and made tremendous gains by showing respect and valuing what they bring.
