Formerly known and operated as PMB Rivercraft, No Limits specialized in the building and repairing of fiberglass canoes/kayaks. Our market included a significant portion of paddlers training for the Dusi canoe marathon. Further fiberglass works including agricultural dip-tanks, jungle gym slides and bathtubs were also included in our scope of work.As this work was season dependant I worked in the predominantly busy periods of the year on a contract basis.

I started as a very green novice in the technical world where I was tutored with a steep learning curve under more senior technicians and the Irrigation manager in a broad range of skills required to be a self operating technician. These skills and responsibilities included installation, commissioning, faultfinding, and maintenance of, predominantly, Valley Centre Pivots, pumps and motors with variable speed drives, drip, dragline, pod and bulk water supply pontoons and barges. Further areas of work included in field pipework welding. I was also exposed to the principles of irrigation design under the guidance of the engineers in the office. It was this that catapulted me into my pursuit of a Civil Engineering Degree. Show less
