Responsible for overseeing the operations of an assigned group of convenience stores and gasoline stations for a specified region of United Pacific’s operations (approximately 60 to 90 locations). Principally responsible for cultivating, developing, and maintaining the highest levels of retail standards, developing and managing a team of district managers and developing and executing strategies to drive process improvements and increase sales. Accountable for driving sales for my region, making recommendations to the Category Management and Merchandise teams, ensuring the store teams are empowered to drive sales and improve customer experience, and to lead by example in embracing change and owning results.

Responsible for overall operations of 10-20 stores, delivering up to $100+ million in volume, within the Gulf Coast and Los Angeles Markets for Old Navy. Led store teams made up of over 140 leaders and over 1,000 hourly employees to deliver results in the areas of sales, operational excellence, merchandising, customer service and people. Accountable for setting clear priorities for the team in order to deliver on the brand’s vision and strategy.

Responsible for multi-unit operation, with revenues of $300M+ in South Florida (greater Miami area and Naples), leading a team of highly motivated Store Team Leaders and 1,100+ team members to increase profitability for the organization. Some of the duties include: P&L Management, Sales Growth, Talent Development and Planning, Merchandising, Operations and Guest Experience. Responsible for the multi-unit profitability in high risk market of the retail organization.

Lead operational and profitability performance for 49 Target stores in South Florida with a particular focus on logistics, pricing, in-stocks, merchandising, remodels, and overall group productivity. Support group and district leaders in succession planning, talent development, and improving bottom performing stores.

Managed a general merchandise Target store in Bonita Springs, Florida from February 2008 to July 2009 with 5 direct reports and 120 indirect reports.

Lead store operations for a 6 store district to maximize sales as well as monitor and manage controllable expenses for a multi-million dollar operation. Facilitated the opening of a new store in Chicago as well as the oversight of numerous remodels in the market. Managed the recruitment, selection, training, development and performance of over 80 store associates to retain a motivated and professional workforce. Developed monthly and quarterly sales projections, productivity, loss and inventory budgets, while also evaluating each store's truck schedule to ensure the proper stock quality is being maintained at all times.
