Responsible for the overall layout, design and branding of Midtown. This includes the bi-monthly magazine, website, email marketing, social media sites and various sales materials. Produce visual design solutions for advertisers and readers in Midtown’s market that will increase awareness, sales and customer loyalty for Midtown’s brand.Responsibilities and Duties- Ad design, page layout and production process of Midtown Magazine- Manage web updates and create web graphics that complement each issue- Manage and produce email marketing and update social media sites- Collaborate with publisher/editor and sales team to develop story ideas and yearly editorial calendar- Select editorial and assign corresponding photography for each issue- Plan photo shoots and provide creative direction on set- Manage the art, design and printing budget- Communicate with customers and co-workers about the impact of design and creative work- Design other media contents such as brochures, media kits, one sheets and trade show graphics- Manage and train production department in software and company procedures- Oversee design and production of sister publication, Cary Living
