Responsible for the federal and state tax compliance of over 1,700 special purpose vehicles, venture capital funds, and fund-of-funds. As the firm’s sole tax CPA, Travis was also responsible for educating clients, investors, and the firm’s owners and other business lines on tax related issues. In less than four months, during the 2016 tax filing season, Travis and his team completed and delivered close to 700 partnership and corporate tax returns and delivered around 18,000 Schedule K-1s to investors. In addition to the K-1s, Travis also oversaw the completion and delivery of over 300 Forms 1042-S to foreign investors.
