Travis has over 25 years of engineering and manufacturing leadership experience in the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries. He currently works as the Sr Director of Production Operations at ALK Source Materials where he provides strategic direction, development and execution. He has guided process research and development, facility start-up, and high volume production. He has led/managed teams both domestically and internationally to drive significant improvements in safety, yield, productivity, and cost initiatives. He has experience using Lean practices that empower organizations to drive continuous improvement. He has worked with cGMP, regulatory, ISO, and other certifications and requirements. Travis has a real passion for developing leaders and has a track record of identifying and developing key talent. While living/working abroad (Denmark), he led and expanded a global supply chain organization for a series of new products.Travis has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Oregon. He has been able to combine his technical and business training to provide strategic direction and execution in a number of different roles. Travis enjoys spending his free time with his wife and kids in beautiful north Idaho.
