Hello, I am Tre Watson, CEO of Legacy Athletic Training. Legacy Athletics is a Prep Academy that provides youth athletic and position specific development through ALL sports. I decided to open Legacy as a way to give kids the opportunity to not only become the best athletes, but the best individuals they can be by instilling hard work, dedication and accountability. Giving these young athletes a place to get the best development possible to make their dreams a reality. As a former 4 Star Runningback from Corona Centennial High School, I went on to play for the University of California Berkeley and University of Texas, and also played in the NFL for the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles which gave me a level of expertise that allows me to relate to ALL athletes at every level. Legacy has a beautiful campus located in Ontario California where we have partnered with Wesley College Preparatory School which is accredited by Cognia formerly known as AdvancedED, the largest community of education professionals in the world. WCPS is a "one to one" school that uses digital integration for exceptional instructional and digital support, giving real time feedback to teachers and administration to enhance differentiated instruction; creating timely remediation when needed. We emphasize in providing our athletes with a fun, safe and hardworking competitive learning environment that encourages proper coaching, health, academic and overall life skill development. We have a staff of former collegiate and professional athletes that give the youth tools and mentorship to not only be successful on the field, but off the field. Every month we host NFL camps where we have a good group of our former teammates or opponents that are currently playing to come out and compete with the kids. Our program is centered around speed, agility, strength and conditioning training, as well as emphasizing the importance of recovery and nutrition. We hold our athletes to a high academic standard, they must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher to participate in our development program; with this standard it allows our athletes to stress the importance of being a true STUDENT-Athlete.
