I’m a team leader with over 10 years of experience in transportation and logistics. I also have 15+ years combined in the manufacturing and production of motorcycles and food grade products. With such a diverse field of products, it has given me a special viewpoint on the needs of my internal customer.Until recently, I led a team of capable associates for Unilever, a multi-national company with a very diverse portfolio of products in the health & beauty and food industry. In this role I was focused on warehouse and inventory management, although I have had experience in production leadership in the past. Successes included establishing and implementing SOP's, best workplace practices, safety procedures, as well as specialized proprietary tooling meant to aid in improving efficiency. Previous experience includes supervisory work with UPS and production worker and material handler work with Harley-Davidson and Hillshire Brands.My co-workers know me as a straight-forward, no nonsense leader who can always be trusted to do what's right for my operators. But I know that the business need comes first, and I make sure to express that whenever possible. I never try to impose my ideas on others. Instead, I spend a lot of time understanding the business and the audience before suggesting ideas.
