• Formed the first large scale coffee cooperative in San Ramon with 900+ coffee farmers by combining 13 autonomous coffee associations into one entity. Since the formation, I have assisted in finding international buyers resulting in exporting contracts being signed from clients in the USA and Hong Kong.• Developed community savings and micro-credit programs of $15,000+ with groups who are majority of women earning less than $3.00 a day• Developed the new 8-year project framework for the Community Economic Development program, partnering with Peace Corps Washington D.C.• Coordinated with multiple Peruvian federal agencies to bring professional training to San Ramon (entrepreneurship, financial literacy, marketing, etc.) affecting 100+ women and 50+ high school studentsI partnered with La Federacion de Cafeteleros de San Ramon to form the first large scale cooperative in the region. Originally the federation was made up of 13 autonomous groups. Now they act as one entity, working to obtain organic, as well as others, certification. We have partnered with the federal organizations AMCHAM and Sierra y Selva Exportadora to secure future exporting contracts.I was invited to take part in the Logic Project Framework Workshop to assess the previous six years of project results, and subsequently, construct the new 8-year plan for the Community Economic Development Program. We analyzed both quantitative and qualitative data in order to distinguish the strengths and weaknesses of the current project framework. Working in tandem with Peace Corps Washington D.C. representatives we streamlined the future 8-year framework so the next 100+ Community Economic Development Specialists will have an easier time meeting both the local and federal needs on the ground level.
