The primary objective of the Website Character team is to build features which elevate Squarespace’s reputation as the design-forward choice in the DIY Website Builder market. The goal of this team is to help customers express their story and tastes in an engaging way that gives their site a certain charm, a personality, a character.The character of a website can be determined by the colors, fonts, graphics, and other features and elements that are brandable. This team is building new expressibility driven features that help with our user’s self expression (special blocks and site-level improvements that create moments of delight for the visitor), and continuously freshen up the existing presets without committing to owning the encompassing product feature (font packs, color palettes, image effects, etc.).
