In this role, my primary responsibilities included drafting social copy, media alerts, press releases, and opinion articles. My other tasks entailed pitching client-related content to industry-specific outlets and promoting client events on local community calendars to increase viewership, engagement, and attendance. I occasionally attended social events and restaurant openings to provide general support, record social content, and correspond on-site with broad and local news outlets, journalists, and social media influencers. These are the tasks and responsibilities I generally anticipated completing every day in the office. However, miscellaneous work that was part of my role included attending meetings, photoshoots, broadcast appearances, and assisting with duties around the office to support agency operations.

I assisted Attorney General Josh Shapiro’s executive speechwriter by supplying research and editing support for the communications team. I also drafted speeches, short remarks, video scripts, talking points, and classified material. The written material I produced for the Attorney General’s Office helped me strengthen my ability as an inspiring speechwriter while contributing research to the Attorney General’s speech writing metrics regarding the interest of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

In this role, I was responsible for planning, drafting, and submitting social copy to my supervisor and the studio manager. I created these materials with the intention of reflecting and continuing the established voice of Location215 across all their social channels.I was also responsible for assisting with events. Some of the duties I was responsible for were maintaining COVID-19 protocols, ensuring guests had all the necessary information, setting up/disassembling materials for events, and maintaining relationships with vendors from industries like furniture, sound equipment, interior design, and food and beverage.
