About Trevin Wolfe
I have enjoyed working with computers all of my life. Tech support for friends and family turned into tech support at the school computer lab and later as a programmer for hire in my spare time. My past work experience and internships really helped me to succeed in college so, when UC offered their IT+MBA Accelerated program, I figured I better get some business experience too.My first company, Laughing Wolf Designs, started as a contracting company and grew into a Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution as a way of learning and practicing the fundamentals of running a cloud-native business.A few years later, I graduated from college and joined Speedway LLC as a server admin. Still eager for more business experience, I also helped start two new companies with my more entrepreneurial family and friends: Maraden Bookkeeping and Administrative Services and Mandarin Limited.More recently, I've finally decided to specialize in FinOps. This began out of curiosity and necessity at SolarWinds as their cloud spend continued to grow. Having already taken the lead over a few initiatives for the Infrastructure team in audit and data security, I was given the opportunity to create and head the FinOps program just as soon as I learned what that meant. Four months later, with almost $1M in savings under my belt, I knew I would never look back.
