Military Veteran (United States Marine Corps) and full-time grad student seeking to transition to a career in public service. While I am always looking for ways to expand my knowledge base to become more well-rounded on a multitude of topics, my current areas of interest within the field includes research on Veteran issues/problems, public policy surrounding Veterans, program (e.g., assistive/services oriented) creation and implementation, developing and supporting district wide initiatives for K-12 schools, process improvement in education settings, and community building to support our education attainment goals for schools. I am currently working towards my master's in public administration (nonprofit emphasis) at SUNY Brockport to support my academic interests and employment goals while also sitting on two Greece Central School District committees, those being the Parent Advisory Leadership Committee (PALC) and the District Improvement Team (DIT). Proficient in technical and grant writing, research, data collection, statistical analysis, Microsoft Office products, and working in team environments and collaborative roles. Currently, I am looking to build upon the foundation of skills acquired throughout my educational journey in real-world settings and institutions in the hopes of applying them to the development of future pragmatic solutions to the problems I will inevitably encounter in my professional career.
