I am currently a senior at Purdue University studying Finance and Economics and pursuing a Certificate of Entrepreneurship.I have had the opportunity to gain experience from a handful of different companies which has evolved and develop my view of the work place. From working Papa Johns, and learning the importance of efficiency and being able to maintain a calm and organized manner in a fast paced setting. Working with at a company like Fire Dawgs, where I was able to work with customers of all backgrounds and take up responsibilities such as end of day reports or evaluating and putting a price point on jobs to give customers an in person quote. All in all, helping me gain experience when it comes to working with different teams and/or customers.This past summer, I completed a Finance and Accounting Internship with Allied Junk Partners, owning partner of Fire Dawgs Junk Removal among other brands. At this role, I completed tasks such as but not limited to the following:• Reconciled company checking, savings, and credit card accounts.• Prepared month’s end depreciation and amortization schedules• Created bills, invoices, and journal entries as needed in Quick Books Online• Completed a Chart of Accounts restructure and classification project • Compared and reviewed Accounts Receivables across various entities and divisionsThis ....I am interested in developing a more rounded background when it comes to finance/accounting related roles and the entrepreneurship process.
