The original goal for the project was to compare ocean dynamics of a 0.1 by 0.1 degree grid to the 1 by 1 degree grid of the ocean dynamics component of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change 6th Assessment Report.In addition, the ocean dynamics of the CESM was directly compared to that of the IPCC. This was done on a global scale as well as for the Gulf of Mexico.The original goal for the project was expected to take June and July, I was able to finish this original goal by the first week of July.• A percentile of SSH caused by each component of IPCC and the CESM sterodynamics was taken for the Gulf of Mexico. The time series for thermal expansion was compared between the IPCC, high resolution and low resolution CESM.Observational data from NASA was compared against the high resolution CESM and low resolution CESM.The high resolution CESM was directly compared to the low resolution CESM for ocean dynamics.The trend for SSH at 13 tide gauge stations around the gulf was compared against high resolution and low resolution CESM at the same coordinates.Figures were created for presentation and a report was written detailing how results were found.
