As Ubicquia's Director of Field Operations, my responsibilities include managing a team of global field engineers, interacting directly with large cities/utilities/ESCO's, and improving the design and function of the tools used to support the Ubicquia Product line. By utilizing previous software development experience in other roles, I was able to help our team improve from having no support tracking structure whatsoever, to a full Salesforce Service Cloud implementation, complete with custom ticket tracking, a customer self service portal (Community Cloud), and returned product analysis/reporting. Experience with reporting tools and SQL are being used with Salesforce reporting, Tableau, and a custom Grafana installation.

As a field engineer for Ubicquia, responsibilities include the following:-Knowledge of the product line down to the hardware/firmware level -Able to give technical presentations along with Sales staff to large audiences at Utility, ESCO or City/State government offices.-Pre & Post Sales Advanced Technical Support -High volume of business travel to key accounts - over 50% during busiest seasons.

As an Embedded Software Engineer with Ubicquia, I have been able to use my programming knowledge to develop product firmware using Arduino C, C++ and Micropython. In this role, responsibilities include working with hardware/electrical engineers during the design process, writing/reviewing firmware for our IoT devices, and communicating with engineers at different companies to advance development priorities. This particular role included a wide range of focus areas, including working with MicroPython, C, C++, LoRaWAN, 3G/4G LTE modules, AT-Commands, MQTT, GCE/AWS, SQL, ELK, and more.

As a Lead Salesforce Developer and architect at Siemens, my responsibilities were focused around developing new features, architecture, and policies for our division-wide Salesforce platform that hosted nearly 10k users. Day to day responsibilities included working with Apex, SOQL, Jenkins, and Selenium to develop and test new features for the platform. Responsibilities also included working with leaders from the business development teams to interpret and prioritize new requirements, and participating in Global Change Management meetings as a lead architecture contributor.

As a member of the Cloud operations security team, we were trained to investigate Windows/Linux servers and web content to identity a variety of malware. Daily activities included examining raw PHP / JavaScript / HTML files looking for any injected malicious code, generally used for spamming/phishing or compromising web sites on the server. After identifying new malware that was NOT in our corporate index, I am able to write Regex or Python code that can scan a file directory for this type of intrusion. As an advanced Linux user, I am comfortable writing Bash scripts, managing servers and configuring WordPress/Drupal/Joomla installations. Very comfortable with GCE and AWS.

AT MIS, primary responsibilities included management of day-to-day IT operations, participating in code reviews along with senior development, and generating dashboards using SQL & Tableau. Participated in strategy discussions internally and with clients to further develop the company's offerings around business intelligence reporting, including a complete standup of Tableau server and creating all accompanying dashboards & queries.
