In my current position, I am leading a total transformation of Cost of Sales for Kimberly Clark under Project Aurora. At KC, we are in the early stages of a $700M multi-year world-wide financial and business transformation project; one that will upgrade and modernize our business systems for better collaboration of our connected capabilities, standardizing our global footprint, and improving our ability to compete in today’s competitive supply chain environment. As part of my involvement in this transformation, I am responsible for leading a world-wide team in making a step-change in Cost of Sales, with 10x improvements in our ability to view, understand and analyze Supply Chain Finance and the COS line on the P&L. In this effort, I am creating consistency, a better line of sight and transparency to the transactions to provide timely financial analysis and strategic forecasting for better business decisions. I am utilizing 25+ years of experience in large companies to partner with other non-finance functions, including Planning, Manufacturing, and Quality to improve our processes and ensure alignment across the globe.

As VP of FP&A, I spearheaded financial analysis and forecasting processes by proactively leading a large international team. I led all operations finance activities, focusing on the transparency of cost through our manufacturing and distribution functions. I coordinated all quarterly and annual business processes, collaborating with business unit and corporate leadership to ensure optimal outcome. I prepare consolidated income statement, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts, while supporting earnings processes. I served as liaison between CFO, corporate controllers, investor relations, and external communications. I drove the financial portion of a large divestiture for the business encompassing 66% of total revenue. I developed a confidential information memorandum to help guide and educate potential buyers. I drove financial separation activities and TSA agreements, while improving the cost structure of newly created medical device company.

As Senior Director, I oversaw $4B cost of sales, including manufacturing, logistics, and capital investments, serving as lead business partner to SVP of Operations & Quality. I headed a large organization of operational finance employees across all businesses, manufacturing plants, and distribution centers. I developed analytics to support decision-making processes, leveraging data analysis across segments to drive profitability and efficiency. I led the full integration of the operations finance function for the Medtronic acquisition of Covidien.

In this role, I coordinated the financial analysis and forecasting of a $7B division, ensuring accuracy and integrity of all data by developing analytics of overall segment portfolio. I uncovered opportunities for growth by completing life cycle analyses of all major product groupings; developed methodology for KPIs to report and document key business driving statistics across segments consistently. It was also my responsibility to prepare quarterly business reviews and board of director presentations for all businesses within the segment.
