I am a Meteorologist with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oklahoma and currently serve as a Quality Assurance Meteorologist at the Oklahoma Mesonet, where I am responsible for ensuring all data collected meet the Mesonet’s research quality standards. I have nearly 4 years of experience with data analysis, working in an operational network setting, mentoring student employees, and, through this position and four years of broadcast meteorology education, nearly 8 years of translating complex scientific information to diverse, non-science audiences. I have an interest in climate change and efforts to mitigate its effects, along with how atmospheric processes will continue to change in a warming world. I am #opentowork, and I am seeking positions that involve climate change mitigation, education, and environmental sustainability.
