Participate in the design, development, implementation, and support of financial software systems applied to the management and control of various costs for the Department of State

Assist in the development of a three-tiered business web application using Visual Basic, SQL and ASP. The application is used by energy and utility companies worldwide. Responsible for enhancing and customizing clients’ reporting packages. Participate in a team effort to design and implement a report scheduler application. Assist Product Consultants in the development of design specifications and screen layouts. Involve in the testing and implementation stage of a data transfer application. The application consists of packages of stored procedures written in PL/SQL that filters and transfer raw data to Oracle database. Also contribute to the development of test procedures and writing of a test manual. Responsible for design and implementation of security features for the front end of a three-tiered application. Use ASP and HTML to implement logout button and timeout features.

Responsible for design and implementation of the Jail Management System. Work closely with clients and engineers to develop design specifications and implementation schedule. Program GUI system using CIMPLICITY HMI and Visual Basic in Windows NT platform. The system interfaces with MS-Access for data logging and reporting. Responsible for integration of Touch Screen GUI system to various building management systems (fire alarm, CCTV, card access, perimeter surveillance, elevator control, intercoms, etc.). Manage field installation personnel and responsible for all aspects of on site system installation and startup. Develop and conduct training programs to train system administrators and operators in the operation and maintenance of the Jail Management System. Interact with service technicians and field engineers for end users technical support (software enhancements, upgrades and system modifications). Serve on multiple project groups as technical advisor for GUI system development. Design and develop a Demo System for use as a marketing tool.

Responsible for testing and evaluating company’s software, firmware and hardware based on system specifications. Worked closely with programmers and engineers to trouble shoot and resolve hardware and software issues. Responsible for generation and verification of software and firmware for distribution. Test and repair sub-assembly and final assembled solid state recorders and meters. Worked with engineers to implement engineering modifications.
