Responsible for • Business development at Aetna Vietnam, increasing growth in the Vietnamese market.• Building and managing a strong network and key relationships with insurance brokers, financial advisors and agents.• Conveying Aetna's selling points and market proposition to the market, with case studies, presentations and story telling in both Vietnamese and English• Developing, organising, executing and evaluating sales campaigns to increase sales on a regular basis.• Proactively approaching and supporting stakeholders, prospects and clients (individual and corporate) on their health journey through Aetna’s solutions.• Collaborating with internal staff concerning pricing and pricing strategy, underwriting, operation and product alterations in response to market demands

Responsible for • Managing a small team of sales professionals with an annual turnover of US$3m in premium receipts from new business & consulting services including advising clients on appropriate solutions, managing vendors & working with stakeholders.• Prospecting, target market identification, approaching potential clients, understanding their needs, identifying areas where brokers can assist and improve services, developing relationships with prospects, clients and relevant partners, providing support on a range of issues, negotiating with providers for the best quotation, presenting proposals and assisting prospects to select suitable option.• After sales support and referral management.• Management of policy renewals for large accounts, responding to local bidding or supporting the regional team for global bidding.• Developed the successful Affinity Group membership program and gift program. • Developed and built the Myanmar health insurance market working closely with head office.• Developing a sale strategy for Vietnam with planning, supervising and setting targets whilst mentoring team members.• Coaching team members in sales techniques and insurance expertise (both local and international health insurance), advising team members on the insurance market both in Vietnam and other countries and how to operate the CRM system.
