Grace Cole are a privately owned global supplier of award winning bath and body products, cosmetics and gifts.The role started out as a temporary position for 3-4 months which was made permanentafter 2 months. Work was to support the creation and development of the packaging artwork. This involved retouching packaging photoshop mock ups, designing their product catalogue, creating posters, web assets, colour correcting photoshoots and preparing various packaging artwork for final production.

Key achievements• Being the go to person for design and artwork of DM, brochures, leaflets, POS & ambient, menus and adverts across all platforms including print, web, photography and video editing. Ensuring compliance within brand guidelines.• Identifying and managing expectations of senior stakeholders led to liaising with printers, creating print orders, ensuring all deadlines were met and dealing with any issues regarding artwork and production issues.• Pushed digital advertising by creating home page banners and web icons.This led to creating email assets and animated gifs.• Art directing internal studio photography including sourcing internal and external resources. Manipulating/retouching and colour correction of final images for print and web.• Responsible for the management of the proofing and sign off process across the group. Trained other members in the team to use proofing MIS software.• Created templates/style sheets for consistency across all formats for the team.• Overhauled and maintained the image library which saved time/was easier to use and was open to the whole business.MOST PROUD OF• Often stepping in for the Production Manager, including one period of 4 months.• Reaching out to other parts of the business which resulted in personally taking full creative ownership and strategic planning of all marketing material for the fine dining sector.• Researching and pitching new photography styles to senior stakeholders. This led to bringing the Group’s drinks’ photography in house. My involvement in art directing meant images could be cascaded across all platforms.• Being the go to designing/artworking colleague for senior stakeholders within the team.• Pushing the Group’s presence on social media by learning Premiere. Previously done by an agency.
