About Tricia A. Mitchell

My insatiable curiosity once led to an unforgettable Lunar New Year celebration.On my first trip to Vietnam, I strolled the streets of a quiet Hanoi neighborhood. As I passed a home, my curiosity must’ve been apparent. A family soon ushered me in, where we shared plum wine, snacks, and life stories.This story illustrates my hunger for knowledge and connection. How has this translated to my work life? Well, it’s helped me throughout my career — whether I’m solving problems, sharing ideas, or improving my skills.My intrinsic desire to learn guided me as I transitioned from training manager and program director to writer and content marketer. Beyond work, these traits have also helped me navigate expat life in four countries — and explore nearly 70.And one more story before I go… I once rescued a kitten from a dumpster in Ukraine. Together, we traveled 600 miles (1,000km) on buses, trains, and trams. I named the kitten Cocoa. I wrote a blog post about his search for a new home. After a reader discovered the post, she adopted the little guy. Today, Cocoa is living the dream in Switzerland.
