Tricia Adams Email and Phone Number
I have over 15 years of experience managing nonprofit organizations and developing educational and community programming. In 2021, I was honored as the Brown County Arts & Culture Volunteer of the Year for my continuing dedication outside of my employment. I have balanced budgets and turned around organizations that were on the verge of closing their doors. Educational programs that I have developed have continued to bring in audiences for years after my departure from an organization. I love working with youth and adults of all ages. And, I am particularly passionate about organizations that encourage youth development, focus on the arts, or museums.I have a MA in History with an emphasis on 20th century American History and Public History. I also have additional coursework towards an MA in Nonprofit Leadership and Management. My BA is in History with an emphasis on Medieval and Renaissance Europe and a minor in Psychology. I also have an AS with and emphasis on Education. In addition, I have undergraduate coursework towards a AS in Film & Television Production as well as continuing education certificates in Board Development and Grant Writing. I've taken it upon myself to continue to learn and improve skills that are useful for my work. I have taught myself several computer programs, including graphic design and video editing. Because of this, I have been able to take on a wide variety of tasks. I believe this makes me very useful to any organization since simply having knowledge of how other department functions can help me to be a better leader. On a personal note, outside of work, I still enjoy visiting museums and going to the theatre. I also enjoy spending time in nature and with my animals. I love football, basketball and baseball. I believe that much of the discourse in the world comes from a lack of knowledge, understanding, respect, and inability to adequately express one's self. I'm on a mission to change that and am looking for people and organizations that can help me make a difference in the lives of everyone in our communities.
