Cincinnati, Ohio Area

I was the lead writer, director and editor of client video work for a qualitative research and marketing agency. I established editorial and stylistic voice for creatives deliverables: both videos and print. I wrote, directed, filmed and/or edited 73 videos: some were journalistic documentaries, others were polished narrative videos. I have written copy for seven client deliverables that included printed books and blogs. Some clients included: Johnson & Johnson, Nestlé, REI, Cars.com, Kimberly-Clark, Hershey, Clorox, Beam Suntory, Teva and Procter & Gamble.

As part of a Career Experience, I was a Video Creative with Apple Retail's video team. We created mostly-internal facing videos ranging from documentaries and interviews to photo montages and training videos. I worked as a writer, shooter, photographer, as well as nearly everything production-wise at some point. I co-wrote the Reservation Pass video which was shown to Apple Stores worldwide. I operated one of the cameras for the video titled "Pride" highlighting Apple’s role in the 2014 San Francisco Pride Parade. "Pride" has over 1.2 million views on Apple’s YouTube channel.

Greater Chicago Area

I worked at the Apple Store Lincoln Park in Chicago. I lead customer workshops and Pro Labs on topics ranging from Final Cut Pro X and iMovie to fundamentals on Mac and iPhone use. As a store mentor, I trained and on-boarded new hires. I also created video content for store meetings. I was honored with the Best Of Brand award.

I directed 26 plays professionally. I wrote 18 short plays - all of which have been produced. My play "The Cowboy" was published in the "Best American Short Plays 2011-12". I wrote, directed and/or edited five award-winning short films that have been screened at film festivals as far away as South Africa. Greater Milwaukee Area

I was a Store Manager for two different Starbuck locations: Red Arrow Park Milwaukee (the only Starbucks with an ice rink) and the Pewaukee location. I grew store year-to-year sales and exceeded store budget every financial quarter as a store manager at both locations. One year my store's Total Contribution (the bottom line) was 1400% over budget. I lead the career development and promotions of five baristas up to shift supervisors; three coffee masters; one shift supervisor to Assistant Store Manager; and two Assistant Store Managers to Store Managers. I was awarded the Store Manager of the Quarter Award for the Midwest Region Quarter 4 2005. I shadowed with the Starbucks Marketing team.
