• Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, mechanical contractors, and architects to design hood packages and HVAC systems for commercial kitchen projects in accordance with the California mechanical code.• Address issues regarding mechanical design and construction documentation with designers, installers, and city inspectors.• Responsible for producing CAD drawings, handling order processing, Ansul fire system design, commissioning of 3rd party installers, and provide technical onsite support to different trades on multiple projects.

Conducting materials tests by bending, tension, fatigue and environment test per ASTM standards. Data acquisition from tests and evaluation including load/stress calculation. Using lab tools/machines such as SEM, microscope, oscilloscope, calipers, micrometers and etc. Designed 3D Solidworks model and produced drawings of specimen adapters for RSL testing machines.

Assisted with bill of materials and documentation of climate control units that are used for industrial applications. Conducted time studies on various products to provide accurate labor expenditures for business decisions while advising possible ways to improve manufacturing operations. Produced process flow charts to study critical paths and identify possible areas for process improvement.
