A friend of mine, Kiet, one day, went to buy chips as a child. He found out that the price has increased annually; he cried and cramped into economics. However, I saw that as a motivation for me to step into the world of business, how money works/cycles, how a business is run, and how to get money working for me.I am currently a third-year finance student at the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business, with a minor in accounting. Before I attended college, I had a chance to work part-time in my family business which is about diamonds and jewelry. After graduation with my BBA degree in Houston, I am planning to obtain a Level 1 CFA as well as pursue an MBA in Houston. Furthermore, I have experience investing in crypto for nearly 3 years now and have learned a lot of investing knowledge such as Crypto, Decentralize Finance, Blockchain, and Non-Fungible Token on some online courses and YouTube.In the fourth year of my degree, I am planning to obtain an internship at a business company in Houston. I will try my best to work hard, learn, and experience during my opportunity to work in a company. My experience when I worked part-time for my family business and the knowledge I learned from college will help me deal with a variety of tasks in a company. As such, I am confident that I can make an instant impact in business roles.My 5 to 10-year plan includes becoming a financial advisor/analyst or a financial manager of a company in Houston. My education at Lone Star College and the University of Houston will prepare me for a long career in running a business smoothly and helping people manage their money successfully. My 10 to 20-year plan is to overtake my diamond and jewelry family business in Vietnam as well as become more experienced and successful in my finance career.My key skills include leadership, analysis, investing, problem-solving, sales, Final Cut Pro, management, and mathematics.I am eager to hear about potential internship opportunities, so I would be pleased to chat about internship openings in the business sphere.
