I am a recent graduate of The university of California Merced. I graduated with a major in psychology and a minor in writing. I have experience writing and editing in both the creative and professional scopes.I was the main copy editor for the the UC's creative arts journal, The Vernal Pool, in 2022. In that position I oversaw any and all copy that was to be posted by, sent out, and overall associated with the journal. I checked for technical, content, and continuity errors. I also reached out to our published authors and confirmed any specific formatting preferences for their pieces, prior to the publication. I helped to promote the journal as well, as I worked in tandem with the journals social media team. I crafted several captions and informational post on Canva that were posted to the journals Instagram and Twitter. The years prior and post my time on the editorial board for The Vernal Pool, I have had several of my fiction and creative nonfiction works published in the Journal
