Evaluation Assistant
CurrentSelect quantitative and qualitative data collection methods appropriate for evaluating public health programs Analyze quantitative and qualitative data using basic biostatistics and qualitative software Interpret results of data analysis for public health research, evaluation, policy or practice Supports the WAI evaluation team in designing evaluation approaches to continuously monitor the recruitment, hiring and onboarding of up to 140 WAI team members (“WAI Placements”) across more than 45 PHAs. Manages the development of data collection protocols and tools (e.g., interview guides, surveys, Smartsheet forms) for quantitative and qualitative evaluation purposes. Assists in and supports qualitative and quantitative data collection, cleaning and analysis using data provided by WAI Project Managers (PMs) and other groups (e.g., participating PHAs, WAI Placements) as time allows. Leads portions of updating WAI continuous monitoring data dashboards in Tableau and Smartsheet which share program progress to leadership and other audiences. Serves as key liaison between up to 10 PMs and the WAI evaluation and leadership teams, training of PMs on evaluation processes, addressing PM questions, taking and responding to PM feedback on evaluation processes and engaging PMs to ensure their programmatic insights are elevated in a timely manner to leadership throughout program implementation. Develops data driven briefing documents and evaluation reports which showcase learnings, messages and stories from WAI’s implementation to varied audiences. Represents the CDC Foundation at technical, policy, and strategic planning meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
