Patient Care Technician - Float Pool
Current• Provide patient care based on the physiological, psychological, safety, and educational related criteria appropriate for the patient's age served in assigned service • Ongoing communication with patients, nurses, and other health care team members regarding patient status and rendered care • Recognizes and responds to opportunities to enhance patient satisfaction •Participates in interdisplinary collaboration of patient's plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure a safe transition and continuum of care•Demonstrates competency skills of obtaining necessary clinical data, temperature, pulse, blood pressures, O2 saturation, ventipunctures for laboratory test, and performing EKG for patients as directed all while reporting and documenting any abnormal lab values to the RN.
